CUFE Business School has always attached great importance to research work and encouraged teachers to focus on important issues in China’s economic and social development with the starting point of “researching Chinese issues and telling Chinese stories” to carry out management research. The school provides comprehensive support for teachers in academic exchange, research organization, and project application: regularly hosting distinguished academic forums to invite scholars from home and abroad to exchange cutting-edge management ideas; implementing academic exchange support programs to encourage teachers to discuss theoretical and practical management issues with peers; supporting the construction of “Double-First Class” disciplines and research institutions to enhance the school’s discipline competitiveness through organized research; and hosting project application mobilization and experience sharing meetings to advocate active participation of teachers in various project applications. This time, the selection of multiple teachers as “2024 CNKI Highly Cited Scholars” highlights the school’s strong academic influence.

The evaluation index adopted for the “2024 CNKI Highly Cited Scholars” is the weighted total PCSI (Paper Citation Standardized Index) of the author’s published papers. The criteria for selecting papers are that the paper’s PCSI is higher than the theoretical average, and the weight is related to the number of co-authors and the order of authorship. Those selected for the “2024 CNKI Highly Cited Scholars” PCSI TOP 1% and TOP 5% amount to 30,000 and 89,000 respectively. To be eligible, scholars must meet several conditions, including a total PCSI of papers published in the past decade higher than the baseline value, no less than five qualifying papers, and at least one high-impact paper.
