To comprehensively enhance the teaching capabilities of young teachers and assist in preparing for the 15th Young Teachers' Teaching Basic Skills Competition of Central University of Finance and Economics, CUFE Business School successfully held the 2025 Young Teachers' Teaching Basic Skills Competition in A02, MBA Education Center on the afternoon of May 14, 2025.

After selection and recommendation by each department, three young teachers—Dr. Ji Yueting from the Department of Organization and Human Resource Management, Dr. Gao Zhennan from the Department of Finance and Financial Management, and Dr. Ling Ruobing from the Department of Marketing—ultimately qualified for the competition. The competition invited Prof. Zhu Fei, an excellent instructor of the 13th Beijing Young Teachers' Teaching Basic Skills Competition; Dr. Li Jiapeng, a first-prize winner of the Beijing Young Teachers' Teaching Basic Skills Competition; Prof. Zhang Shujun, a senior teacher deeply engaged in teaching at the school; and members of the school's Teaching Committee as review guests. Prof. Gu Leilei, Director of the Undergraduate Program of the school, served as the host of the competition.

In the teaching demonstration session, the three contestants showcased their profound yet simple knowledge explanations, atmosphere-activating teaching skills, and elaborate teaching designs to the judges with full spiritual energy and confident styles with distinct characteristics, comprehensively demonstrating the solid teaching skills of CUFE Business School's young teachers and their ability to actively explore teaching reform and innovation.

After the teaching demonstration, the review guests provided targeted opinions and suggestions from multiple dimensions, including the selection of teaching content, control of teaching rhythm, accuracy of language, compactness of teaching links, and overall design of PPT, combined with the characteristics of each contestant.
At the end of the competition, Prof. Gu Leilei summarized the event. She expressed gratitude to the review guests for their professional guidance and pointed out that the competition demonstrated the teaching demeanor of CUFE Business School's young teachers. She hoped that young teachers would polish their teaching skills and improve their teaching abilities through the competition and wished the contestants good results in the school-level competition.
This competition not only provided a platform for young teachers to display and exchange but also demonstrated the "mentorship" tradition of CUFE Business School, laying a foundation for the improvement of the school's overall teaching level and high-quality development.
