In 2025, Gansu will implement the second year of the comprehensive reform of the college entrance examination enrollment system. To gain an in-depth understanding of the latest college entrance examination comprehensive reform policies in Gansu and the relevant situation of Gansu candidates, and fully do a good job in enrollment under the new college entrance examination reform model, from April 23 to 25, the leader of the Gansu Recruitment Promotion Team and Dean of CUFE Business School Lin Song, members of the Recruitment Promotion Team and Head of the Department of Finance and Financial Management of CUFE Business School Prof. Zhang Guangli, and the contact person of the Recruitment Promotion Team and Director of the Student Affairs Office of CUFE Business School Qi Yu went to Longnan City and Lanzhou City, Gansu Province to visit the Gansu Provincial Education Examination Authority and carry out recruitment promotion activities in Longnan No.1 High School, Lanzhou No.1 High School, and High School Attached to Northwest Normal University.

On the evening of the 23rd, the first stop of the Recruitment Promotion Team was Longnan No.1 High School. They had a discussion and exchange with Zhou Zhiping, Principal of Longnan No.1 High School, and Tang Guoqin, Head of the Senior Three Grade Group. Principal Zhou shared the experience of Longnan No.1 High School in teaching management and the improvement of students' comprehensive quality, and expressed the hope of delivering more high-quality students to Central University of Finance and Economics. The two sides discussed the talent training model under the new college entrance examination reform and hoped to strengthen cooperation between the two schools in student training and other aspects. Subsequently, Associate Prof. Zhang Guangli gave a recruitment presentation themed "Technological Iteration Waves and the Choice of Finance and Economics Majors" to more than 200 students in the sophomore grade. Combining the current reshaping of the financial field by the digital economy and artificial intelligence, Prof. Zhang shared from three dimensions: "how technology changes business logic", "the core competitiveness of finance and economics majors", and "the discipline layout and training advantages of CUFE". He systematically interpreted the university's joint bachelor's degree programs in fintech + computer science and technology, artificial intelligence + insurance, artificial intelligence + taxation, etc., and encouraged students to identify their discipline positioning in the technological transformation and plan their knowledge reserve in advance. At the lecture site, the students were attentive, interactive, and the atmosphere was harmonious.

On the afternoon of the 24th, Prof. Lin Song led a team to visit the Gansu Provincial Education Examination Authority and had a special discussion with Gao Hui, Director of the General College Enrollment Office, and Ma Xiao, Deputy Director. Prof. Lin introduced the university's enrollment situation in Gansu in the past three years and thanked the Examination Authority for its support in policy interpretation and volunteer filling guidance. The two sides had an in-depth exchange on issues such as the talent training strategy of colleges and universities, the direction of enrollment promotion, and the precise strategy of new major promotion under the background of the new college entrance examination reform, and reached a consensus on jointly promoting the construction of a "college - examination authority - high school" tripartite collaborative education network.

On the evening of the 24th, the Recruitment Promotion Team went to Lanzhou No.1 High School and had a discussion with Ma Jilin, Vice Principal of Lanzhou No.1 High School, to understand the overall situation of Lanzhou No.1 High School after the new college entrance examination reform and introduce our university's enrollment policies and superior disciplines. At the subsequent senior three parents' presentation meeting, Prof. Zhang Guangli comprehensively introduced the advantages of CUFE from the aspects of the university's "double first-class" discipline construction, teaching staff, and employment quality, and suggested that parents focus on the comprehensive consideration of "discipline strength + students' interests + career prospects". In the Q&A session, Prof. Lin Song and Ms. Qi Yu answered the frequently asked questions such as "major transfer policy", "graduation destinations", and "adaptation to college life" one by one.

On the evening of the 25th, the Recruitment Promotion Team, together with Xing Mingqiang, President of the Gansu Alumni Association, and Wei Yu, an alumnus of the Class of 2009 from the Law School, entered the High School Attached to Northwest Normal University to carry out a presentation for senior three parents. Before the presentation, the Recruitment Promotion Team discussed cooperation forms such as "alumni mentors entering high schools" and "career planning workshops" with Song Guangzhen, Assistant to the Principal of the High School Attached to Northwest Normal University, and Lu Haifeng, Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Office and Director of the Student Development Center. Xing Mingqiang, an alumnus of CUFE and Vice Prof. of the School of Accounting of Lanzhou University of Finance and Economics, affectionately recalled his study time at CUFE in the presentation and shared the profound impact of his alma mater on his academic thinking and career development.
