The International Annual Meeting (ICAM 2025) organized by the International Association of Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) was held from April 7 to 9, 2025 in Vienna, Austria. Professor Lin Song, Dean of CUFE Business School, Professor Liu Xiaoyuan, Vice Dean, and Professor Sun Luping, Director of the International Accreditation Program and Professor of the Department of Marketing, were invited to attend the conference.
With "Expanding Impact" as the core theme, the conference gathered nearly 3,000 business school leaders, professors and industry leaders from five continents. During the conference, AACSB officially unveiled the list of re-accredited institutions for the year of 2025, and CUFE was among them. This is also the first time that a delegation from CUFE has attended the annual international conference of AACSB since the university was officially re-accredited in February this year.
During the conference, the delegation of CUFE Business School participated in several thematic lectures and discussions, and had in-depth exchanges and discussions with the senior management of AACSB accredited organizations and business school peers on how AI empowers curriculum improvement and faculty development, innovation of MBA education programs, construction of mechanism of learning guarantee system, measurement and enhancement of learning effects, and evaluation of impact of scientific research achievements, and other issues.
This international event specially set up the "Domestic Institutions Exclusive Exchange Session", and Dean Professor Lin Song of CUFE Business School was invited as a special guest to share his views. Dean Professor Lin elaborated on the advantages and characteristics of the school, international accreditation and international cooperation, and shared the innovative practices and landmark achievements of the school in recent years. Finally, based on the historical node of transformation and upgrading of business education in China, Dean Lin issued an initiative to colleagues of business schools across the country, calling on them to deepen the synergistic cooperation and jointly explore the paradigm of breakthrough of business education with Chinese characteristics.
During the tea break of the conference, the delegation also met with the deans of business schools and international cooperation program directors of many famous foreign universities one after another. Dean Professor Lin Song introduced to the other side the advantages and school running characteristics of CUFE Business School, the expected mode and direction of cooperation, and carried out in-depth exchanges and discussions with the other side on the follow-up international cooperation matters.
Through the 3-day conference, the delegation of CUFE Business School was able to learn from the innovative concepts and practical experiences of the global business education frontiers, and open up new ideas for promoting the innovative practices of business school education. Through the close interaction with international counterparts, accreditation organizations and partners, the delegation also further deepened the strategic cooperation with international accreditation organizations and expanded the international cooperation network of business schools.
AACSB is one of the most authoritative accreditation organizations in the world and the most prestigious international accreditation in the business education accreditation system. CUFE Business School was accredited by AACSB for the first time in 2020, and successfully passed the re-accreditation in 2025, obtaining the highest accreditation qualification for a six-year period. As an AACSB-accredited member school, CUFE Business School will continue to promote continuous improvement based on international accreditation standards, cultivate business leaders with a global vision, innovative spirit, and sense of social responsibility, and contribute to the construction of a strong education nation.
