In order to further improve the job application skills and techniques of CUFE Business School students, the College held a series of coaching on April 10th in A28 of MBA Education Center - structured interview skills analysis, no-leadership group mock interviews and resume coaching. Counseling Professor Shan Feng was invited to give the lecture. Professor Shan Feng is a 2012 MBA alumnus of CUFE Business School. He is the author of the best-selling book "Targeted Interview", "Interviewing, It's So Simple", and the main speaker of the short video "Interviewing's Six-Pulse Divine Sword".

In the morning interview skills seminar, Professor Shan Feng started from the school recruitment interview scoring sheets of many enterprises, shared the recruitment evaluation dimensions and high-frequency classic questions of most state and centralized enterprises, with the question "Can you accept overtime work?" "If you are not hired, what do you think is the reason?" With the examples of pressure-type interview questions such as "Can you accept overtime?" and "What do you think is the reason if you are not hired?", we guided the students to interact with each other and discuss the answers that better reflect their personal ability, meet the needs of the enterprises, and reflect their job-seeking intention.Summarized that in the interview process, it is necessary to realize whether the interviewer is examining the surface characteristics or deep characteristics of the applicant, and to avoid empty talk and cite practical experience to support the answer. The lecture was shared with vivid humor, detailed cases, rich interaction and full of dry goods, which was well received by everyone.

In the afternoon lecture, Professor Shan Feng organized a no-leadership group simulation interview for the students present, who sat around and started a warm discussion, expressing their own opinions, dividing the work clearly, and taking the initiative to report. After the end of the simulation, Professor Shan Feng dismantled the core problem of the simulation for everyone step by step, what are the possible solutions, and proposed if you can get a higher evaluation of the interview. Finally, the students were introduced to the different roles, different scoring dimensions and things to deal with at different stages of a leaderless group discussion with the example of a real-world case study video, which the students said they benefited a lot from.
After the lecture, Professor Shan Feng also conducted one-on-one interview counseling and career planning for the students, patiently and carefully provided each student with personalized employment advice and progress direction, so that each student benefited greatly.
