CUFE Business School Holds a Special Lecture on “International Organization Talent Training”

On March 28th, the CUFE Business School held a special lecture on "International Organization Talent Training" in Room 114 of the Main Teaching Building on the Xueyuan South Road Campus of the College. Professor Ge Jianxin, the Director of the International Cooperation Office of the university, was invited to be the keynote speaker. Professor Lin Song, the Dean of the CUFE Business School and the Director of the MBA Education Center, Yang Zhongying, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Professor Liu Xiaoyuan, the Vice Dean, Guo Xiaokun, the Director of the International Cooperation Office, the counselor team, and undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students attended the lecture. The lecture was chaired by Dean Lin Song.


Dean Lin Song pointed out that contemporary young people have active minds and should have a broad development vision. They should actively go abroad, embrace the world, and accumulate international experience to lay a solid foundation for engaging in the construction of their motherland in the future. He encouraged students to actively participate in activities related to international organizations to enhance their international vision and competitiveness.


Professor Ge Jianxin gave an in - depth interpretation of how to participate in the cultivation of international organization talents. Starting from General Secretary Xi Jinping's remarks on the demand for global governance talents, Professor Ge emphasized the importance of cultivating professional talents who are familiar with national policies, have a global vision, and are proficient in foreign languages and international rules. She detailed the classification of international organizations and explained the ten core competencies that international organization talents need to possess, covering key areas such as cultural identity, respect for multicultural values, language communication, and teamwork.


In the internship and job - hunting strategy session, Professor Ge provided students with highly practical suggestions, including how to accurately send resumes, prepare for interviews, and stand out in internships to get employment opportunities. At the same time, she also shared the real - life experiences of outstanding alumni of the business school who worked or interned in international organizations. The successful stories of the alumni inspired the students and gave them a more intuitive understanding of the work in international organizations.


Professor Guo Xiaokun focused on introducing the overseas exchange and cooperation projects of the CUFE Business School. He introduced the cooperation situation between the business school and overseas institutions, shared the number and achievements of the college's outbound exchange and internship students in recent years, and introduced the college's summer full - English international school project. For undergraduate, master's, doctoral, and MBA students at different levels, Professor Guo gave personalized suggestions, encouraging everyone to seize the opportunity based on their own situation and bravely take the first step to enrich their experience and improve their abilities through overseas exchanges.
