Prof. Zhu Fei, Deputy Director of the MBA Education Centre and Vice Dean of CUFE Business School, was invited to lead a team to attend the 2025 global annual conference of the Association of MBAs (AMBA) and the Business Graduates Association (BGA), held in Berlin, Germany from May 19th to 21st. Also in attendance were Kong Weiming, Director of MBA Student Affairs and Career Development, and Prof. Guo Xin from the MBA Teaching Management Department. The conference gathered deans of top business schools worldwide, academic leaders, and industry experts to explore the innovative development of business education in the AI era and its future direction. Prof. Zhu Fei represented CUFE Business School to share the π-shaped talent development philosophy and model of CUFE MBA at the China Business School Special Session of the conference and had extensive exchanges and discussions with representatives of other business schools on the topic.


CUFE Business School formally proposed the π-shaped MBA talent competency model and development mode in 2023. This model aims to cultivate MBA students' value creation ability and career adaptability in the digital age. It emphasizes developing students' comprehensive business management skills while enhancing their digital leadership and financial management expertise. This unique initiative has received positive feedback from CUFE MBA applicants, students, and alumni, and has been emulated by peer institutions.

The three-day conference featured 14 key topics, including AI-driven business education, new leadership models, deep - tech business processes, sustainability, and new graduate career developments, as well as diversified development models such as China's new development, new Eurasian strategies, and new Latin American models. Through keynote speeches and group discussions, experts and scholars from around the world shared their latest research findings and practical experiences. Kong Weiming and Prof. Guo Xin participated in the entire conference and related seminars, engaging in in - depth exchanges with representatives from global business schools to broaden their vision on MBA program operations.
During the conference, a certification award ceremony was held for newly accredited institutions. Prof. Zhu Fei received the certificate for CUFE Business School's third AMBA reaccreditation and first BGA accreditation. He also took a commemorative photo with AMBA and BGA International Accreditation Advisory Committee Chief Executive Andrew Main Wilson and Committee Chair Prof. Steef van de Velde.
