Exploring New Pathways for Digital Intelligence Empowering Business Education: CUFE Business School Hosted the "Digital Empowerment of Business Education and Teaching Experience Exchange Conference for Business Schools in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region"

From May 10 to 11, the "Digital Empowerment of Business Education and Teaching Experience Exchange Conference for Business Schools in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region" was successfully held at the Beijing Business Convention Hall. Hosted by CUFE Business School, undertaken by the "Virtual Teaching and Research Office for Financial Entrepreneurship Education Research" of the Ministry of Education, and co-organized by the Higher Education Press, the conference attracted numerous experts and scholars from universities, research institutions, and enterprises nationwide. Co-chaired by Prof. Lin Song, Dean of CUFE Business School, and Guo Jinlu, Director of the Digital Textbook Institutional Cooperation Department of Higher Education Press, the participants engaged in in-depth discussions on the deep integration of digital technology and business education, jointly exploring innovative development pathways for business education in the new era.



In the opening address, Prof. Li Jianjun, Vice President of Central University of Finance and Economics emphasized that the digital intelligence era has posed new challenges and opportunities for business education. He expressed hope that this forum would serve as an opportunity to promote comprehensive innovation in educational models. Shi Yang, Deputy Director of the Digital Textbook Publishing Center of Higher Education Press, stated that the center would focus on upgrading textbook construction in the new era, using technology to empower higher education and assist in cultivating business talents.



During the keynote speech session, multiple academic authorities delivered wonderful presentations. Prof. Sun Guohui, Former Vice President of Central University of Finance and Economics, addressed the topic "Digital Intelligence Empowering Business Education: Cumulative Issues and Coping Strategies," analyzing numerous challenges in current university education and traditional business teaching, and proposing multiple countermeasures, including the comprehensive reform of teacher evaluation. Prof. Cheng Ruifang, Vice President of Hebei University of Economics and Business, discussed "Exploration and Practice of AI+New Financial Talent Cultivation," analyzing the new connotations and characteristics of financial education in the digital intelligence era and sharing insights on new financial talent cultivation methods based on the practical experience of Hebei University of Economics and Business. Prof. Lü Feng, Director of the Institute of Modern Management at Nankai University, delivered a speech titled "Digital Empowerment: Resetting Basic Assumptions of Business Education," elaborating on new assumptions and logics that business education should prioritize in the new era from three dimensions: educators, learners, and educational events.



Subsequently, Prof. Lin Song presented "The Entrepreneurship Education Model of Central University of Finance and Economics and the Development of Digital Entrepreneurship Textbooks," introducing the development history and characteristic model of entrepreneurship education at CUFE Business School. He officially launched the Digital Entrepreneurship digital textbook developed by the "Virtual Teaching and Research Office for Financial Entrepreneurship Education Research" and published by Higher Education Press. Yuan Wei, Chief Editor of the Undergraduate Branch of the Digital Textbook Publishing Center at Higher Education Press, delivered a speech titled "Exploration and Practice of Digital Textbooks," introducing the characteristics of digital textbooks and their advantages over traditional textbooks, and envisioning the direction and practical pathways for constructing high-quality digital textbooks.



On May 11, three roundtable forums were held. The first forum, moderated by Prof. Gu Leilei, Undergraduate Program Director of CUFE Business School, brought together experts including Prof. Liu Shouxian, Deputy Dean of the School of Economics and Management at Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication; Prof. Li Zhenhui, Deputy Dean of the School of Economics and Management at Communication University of China; Prof. Lu Binbin, Director of the Business Administration Department at the School of Economics and Management, Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture; Prof. Jin Lei, Director at the School of Economics and Management, China University of Petroleum (Beijing); and Prof. Shang Yu, Deputy Dean of the School of Management, China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing), who shared insights on the theme "Digital Empowerment of Business Curriculum Construction and Talent Cultivation."



The second forum, moderated by Prof. Liu Ying, Dean's Assistant at the School of Economics and Management, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, featured experts such as Prof. Jing Zhongbo, Deputy Dean of the School of Management Science and Engineering at Central University of Finance and Economics; Gong Ting, Deputy General Manager of the Data Elements and Digital Publishing Center at CNKI; Chen Yun, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Hubei University of Economics; Prof. Zhang Feng, Director of the Graduate Affairs Office at Beijing Union University; Prof. Huang Qiumin, Director of the Accounting Department at Hebei University of Economics and Business; and Prof. Wang Yanyu, Director of the Business Administration Department at the School of Economics and Management, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, who engaged in in-depth discussions on "Digital Empowerment of Business Academic Research and Achievement Publication."



The third forum, moderated by Zhu Ning, Director of Industry-Education Integration at SenseTime, included experts such as Xu Zhengda, Dean's Assistant at the Business School of Beijing Technology and Business University; Fu Dahao, Chairman of Dongfu (Xi'an) Education Technology Co., Ltd.; and Liu Quanbao, Chairman of Zhilian Education Technology Co., Ltd., who exchanged valuable insights on the theme "Digital Empowerment of Industry-Education Integration and Social Services in Business Education."



Focusing on the hotspots and challenges of business education in the digital era, this forum converged wisdom from all parties through keynote speeches and roundtable discussions, providing new ideas and directions for promoting the high-quality development of business education. In the future, CUFE Business School will continue to deepen educational and teaching reforms, collaborating with all stakeholders to explore innovative development pathways for business education in the digital era.
