On January 15, 2025, CUFE Business School jointly launched and hosted the inaugural “Digital Entrepreneurship Empowering New Quality Productivity Forum for Young and Mid-Career Scholars (30-member Forum)” with Higher Education Press. Over 20 young and mid-career scholars from Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Zhejiang University, Jilin University, University of International Business and Economics, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and Higher Education Press, along with Professor He Yang, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of CUFE, participated in the forum.
Opening Remarks by Vice President Li Jianjun
Professor Li Jianjun delivered the opening speech, welcoming the attendees. He emphasized that digital technology-driven entrepreneurial activities have become a focal point in both academic research and business practices. The forum aims to strengthen the exploration of diverse research paradigms in China’s business management academia and advance theoretical research and educational practices in business disciplines to actively empower high-quality economic development in China.
Keynote Report: “Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in the Digital Economy”
Professor Lei Jiasu from Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management presented a report on the construction and evolution of entrepreneurial ecosystems in the digital economy. He highlighted the critical importance of integrated innovation between scientists and entrepreneurs, noting that science-based industrial innovation is key to driving the development of new quality productivity, with institutional innovation playing a pivotal role. His insights sparked extensive discussions among participants.
